The Skullcandy Air Raid is a ruggedly designed portable Bluetooth speaker. The Air Raid features dual 2″ drivers delivering 5W per channel. This portable speaker connects to a music source via Bluetooth 3.0 and provides up to 14 hours of playback when used at reduced volume levels. You can also skip tracks and control volume levels by utilizing the buttons on the front of the speaker. When facing up, the Air Raid Bluetooth speaker is designed to produce a 360-degree sound-field without sacrificing sound quality.
The Air Raid’s 3.5mm AUX input allows you to connect wired devices like MP3 players directly to the speaker. There’s an LED charging and battery life indicator on the front of the Bluetooth speaker that lets you know when it’s time to recharge its battery. The Air Raid will also automatically power-off after 5 minutes of inactivity, which helps conserve battery life. With a weight of 1.8 lb, the Air Raid is easy to travel with.
Playback Time
The Air Raid is designed to provide up to 14 hours of maximum battery life when used at moderate volume, 10 hours at moderate-to-high volume, and 5 hours at maximum volume. To check battery life, simply double press the center button on Air Raid device to reveal the green battery status LEDs on the side of the speaker. In an effort to maximize battery life, the Air Raid will automatically power-off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
